Unfortunately, it does not work that way with either job. However, you could work during the summers as at a theater on stage. A p.e. teacher's job is a full time commitment throughout the school year, and it is not a part time job in most cases with a lot of school districts. Many television actors and actresses work during their break doing movies or the theatre. Just a thought!

Possibly you can work full time as a PE teacher... (salary position.) and do theater work in the evenings or weekends.. (most people I know in theater do stage work as a second interest, until well established and network in the community art.)
or You could open your own business offering specialized classes. Or work a YWCA/YMCA type organization as an activities director.
or even the possibilities of working for a private organization, Church, Charter school or specialized art school.
There must be a way to do both, just use your imagination, and explore your local community for possibilities. Keep exploring your ambitions and the answers should come. Good luck!
One last thought that comes to mind is to contract with Pre-schools and contract to visit once a week (several schools to fill your calender) and provide specialized physical activities and incorporate theater dress up etc activities to the children or even middle school events.

Not full-time, but you could teach your p.e. students different choreographed exercises and put on shows.

no, you can't do that...
maybe you can shift between morning and afternoon, but not between weeks.
you should choose which one you like better, maybe from the salary, or the workplace, or the people there, or the distance, or the work hours, etc....
choose one=)
