Despite it's being rooted in dictatorship, out of sight out of mind might not be a bad idea in a society/culture where sex is so deeply rooted. Banning celebrities pushing drugs on tv isn't a bad idea either. These are all marketing ploys by the pharma companies to get people to get their doctors to push their meds.

Thoughts? How do you think this would fly or impact OUR countries if implemented here?

OMG SUGARPUSS...you did not say turpentine for medication...they actually injested that stuff and LIVED??

This is what I mean when people have no idea what they do...they get these notions and think they are right...see the danger?

It wouldn't happen in the West because money is power and the big companies rule. Going back to the days when celebrities didn't push commercial products is impossible now. It'd be really nice not to have to see multi-millionaire "stars" selling stuff they wouldn't touch themselves, though!

nope i dont even c it due 2 the pharm companies really push their drugs @ county facilities where the uninsured have 2 go 4 treatment they hand out vics morphs oxycodone like jelly belly's then when u become addicted they call u a junkie i worked 4 the county trauma ctr for almost 24yrs b4 being forced 2 retire now i am labeled as a opiate cannabis junkie even though i get my scripts from walgreens yes even the canabinoid marinol synthetic THC while working i didnt take drugs but now i have 2 if i dont want the pain level 2 increase
go figure its a sad situmination lol (translation national situation) boy am i a vagenius this 2 is just a play on words

hell when my mom was growing up the used turpentine & sugar as medication for most ailments yes i said turpentine
