i have just bought a laptop which is able for wirless internet
my sister also has a laptop which is wirless
the wireless box is a belkin and is connected to my computer...
im not sure how to get wirless on my laptop? please help

1. Read the instructions from your belkin router.
2. Call Belkin technical support. I suspect they have a slick procedure that will have you wireless in minutes.

First turn the wireless switch on , depending on your brand of laptop , this maybe a external switch located on the sides of the laptop , above the keyboard or on some laptops u need to keep the fn key pressed and then press one of the function keys f1-f12 on which u see and antenna symbol with radio waves emerging out .
After doing this right click on the wireless network icon which is a computer icon with the wireless symbol on it and click on available wireless network , if u r belking router is set properly u will find it in this list and just click connect and windows will guide u through the rest of the process .

Make sure your Zero Configuration service is running. That will lauch your wireless wizard.

ask to scan for wireless networks and click connect
