The important of studying the cell is that every living thing is composed of cells . If your talking about the human being that is a subject that is the most interesting because it expression of the wisdom of the creator God . The study therefore shows the organization of every thing pertaining to the human body and its function . Make it your favorite subject . You will begin to find a new world of mystery unfold before your eyes , and you will understand what your purpose in life is all about . It will explain how you are able to accomplish what you were intended to do in this life . Your world will become something more than a day to day existence . While I agree with what has already been said, I also admit it's not the easiest thing to find specific information on. Basically, cells are the basic unit of all life, and so when you start to understand cells, you can understand other life, especially the life that affects our own.
