I would like to browse the web and watch movies. i love the ipod touch (i would have gotten an iphone, but i just got a phone before it was released, limited to a year contract, and ton of money), but it has a limited 16 gigs. the archos has a ton of awesome features, like dvr, web video streaming, and awesome screen. i basically threw in the creative because it has 30 gigs and a nice screen.

Archos 605 WiFi
+30 gigs
+big touch screen
+cool dvr function
-must purchase additional web browser

iPod Touch
+nice touch screen (not as big as the archos)
+built in web browser
-limited to 16 gigs

Creative Zen W
+big screen
+30 gigs
-no wifi

I was having the same problem, but without the creative zen w. One of my friends has it and he hates it, its just too fat. The archos and ipods are both awesome devices and i am not too sure which is better, but not the creative zen w. Lately though, i have been leaning towards the archos 605 wifi, because you will able to buy the dvr and internet browser (p.s. the archos' wifi has flash unlike the ipod touch's.)

I have just purchased the 160GB storage version of Archos
605. I wanted this, because of all the features and good
reviews. I needed the large storage for making use of one
thing that can store my Photos, Music, Videos and should be
portable also. DVR added more to it and I am able to record
and add WiFi(even though slow, works ok) makes a good
attraction. With WiFi, comes the browsing capabilities and
all work as advertised.

If you are looking for 160GB, best place to buy is at the
Archos store, when they have in Stock. No other place
I was able to find in stock, and every site mentions 2-4 weeks
for shipment.

I really don't know much about this stuff. I suppose I will have to join the 20th century some day.
