To remove icon "border shadows" on the desktop:

Windows XP Users:
(1) Open System Properties in Control Panel.
(2) Choose the Advanced tab.
(3) Click Settings in the Performance section.
(4) Tick (meaning check on) the "Use drop shadows for icon labels on the desktop" option box.
(5) Click Ok.

You need to restore your desktop. Finding this crap is a lot harder. You can do a search for this, but clean up your desktop first. Click on Start, Settings, Control Panel and Display. Choose Desktop, then pick a background. I use Bliss, but I also use Windows XP (Modified) as my theme. If you have Windows XP, this is a good generic one to use. Then under Desktop, choose Customize Desktop. Then click on Restore Default. Click on Apply and OK at the bottom, and close the Control Panel.

Then click on Start and Search and click on Files & folders. Put in photobucket and start a search. You may have to shorten the name, but if you try enough search parameters, it will find them. THEN you can go to that folder and delete them, PROVIDED, you didn't download this stuff. If you did, then you will have to uninstall it through the Add/Remove Programs in the Control Panel.

Good luck.

Blue coloring---Have to change the background settings color in display settings--appearance---color schemes and delete the wallpaper in the directory file for or pick another one. Try doing a search on your computer using the file name of the wallpaper and delete the original file for it.

Right Click on my Computer, then click on Properties, Advanced Under Performance click on Settings. Adjust them to customized and determine "Use drop shadows for icon labels at the computer"
