The Viet Cong were doing the same thing after the Tet Offensive when they were rescued by the Libs. I hope that doesn't happen again.

The article doesn’t indicate that the Taliban is running out of people but rather that there might be some hope because there is " information of a ’serious debate’ in some groups of Taliban about how long militants want to continue fighting.”

The article also states that “Karzai's latest peace overture came as insurgency-related violence continued to climb.” It seems that this peace process may take a while if only "some groups" are willing to consider laying down arms.

That'd be nice, but I still hold an open invitation for anyone that wants to blow themselves up. They can come out to the farm and pick out their own spot, and I'll even film em if they want ($5 xtra).

That might speed things up a lil bit. Whadda ya think?

It doesn't say that they are running out of people in that article, just that they want to start peace talks, and had wanted to for months but seems to go ignored.
