I have read that putting the page file on a different drive is better or faster. How is it done?

If you have a small fast drive to spare, it can speed up paging. You may or may not benefit much, depending on how much memory you have. Anyway, to set up another paging file, right click on my computer / properties / advanced / (virtual memory) settings / advanced / change. Add the new paging file at least as big as the current one.
