MJR...obsession has little to do with anything...i am merely interested in human behaviour and am wondering if people can justify things more to themselves and others when money is involved and why that is...are peoples opinions different when there is no money involved?..are they different when there is a personal element...the ex...?...im just curious as to how peoples morals change to suit the situation...;0)

Of course I would sleep with my ex even for half a million or less.
Then I would even tell to my significant half if I had one: "Look here my darling I've just earned a million bucks for just sleeping with my ex because the question and and the prize if I did it was for sleeping only not for doing anything else.
I'm sure that my significant half would be pleased and knowing me would trust me that I didn't betray her.

No, I'd need the million, no less. We humans have an infinite number of ways of convincing ourselves about any number of bad things, I'm sure my mind could fabricate a shed load of denial to overcome any revulsion caused by earning the money.

I would never cheat on my husband, there is ALWAYS a chance~for instance when he asked where the million came from in the bank account what would I tell him?? I am a BAD liar (as in I don't do it well)~and there is nothing except my kids that I would risk my relationship/marriage/life with my husband for!!!

I don't have a significant other at the moment. If I did, I'd like to say I would never cheat but, who am I kidding? It's a million dollars. I'm broke.

Cheating is cheating no matter why or how ... and to do it for the sake of money, whatever the amount, is totally reprehensible. If I give my promise/commitment to my significant other, then it is my integrity (not just his feelings) which is at stake should I choose to renege.

It's amazing how people say No, no, no... But I bet that if the opportunity would come it would be Yes, yes, yes...
Plus it would be interesting after we would finish to whisper to my ex's ear "Hey you know what... I'm getting a million $ for doing you and you ain't getting a penny..."
LMAO...

Yes.
and I would use the money to help individuals less fortunate then myself. It would be a gift to share.
It would probably lift a bit of guilt too.
