Should we ask Iran to return the weapons that Presdent Reagan sold them? Or were they converted into cheap road-side bombs in Iraq?

Sorry kids. It was Reagan who sold the weapons to Iran. Maybe you are too young to remember Iran/Contra.

Whole world hates Iran? I don't think so. He seems to have friends with our neignbors to the south in Latin America. And that's not good for us.

America does not hate Iran. This is all coming out of the Cheney White House. What was done by Olie North and others was illegal by the way.

First, usa of america is a rustic, an precis entity, so would not have emotions. maximum human beings do no longer even understand touching directly to the Shah; no, we are actually not attempting to place him back. truly, we've been helping the two facets of the Iran/Iraq conflict -- for income. various human beings, which includes those in government, are confident that Iran is bobbing up nuclear weapons -- and no person needs from now on nuclear international places. additionally, maximum human beings are below the delusion that Iran desires to "wipe Israel off the map" interior the experience of murdering all Israelies. The leaders of Iran are actually not the superb, and sanest human beings on earth. So there is that, too. no longer all Iranians help their government. Many human beings wish Iran have been extra particularly democratic, and respected the rights of all electorate extra valuable.

The only reason we sold Iran ANY weapons after 1978, was to get their terrorist friends in the Hezbollah to give up their hostages. And you'd have to be an idiot to think Iran is going to give up any weapons.

For the record, AfMiYg, they were sold in the MID-80's. Of course it wouldn't have happened if Reagan took a harder line against them after the Hezbollah's suicide bombing of the US Marine Barracks.

The only "friends" Iran has in Latin America are Comrade Hugo Chavez and his gullible followers. The EU hates Iran more than they hated Iraq.

Tthey were sold in the early 80s, correct?

How many fights have these people been in since the 80s? How many of those weapons can function in those conditions after 20 years?

The whole world hates Iran. Lies about who sold them weapons won't change that FACT.
Their weapons, like Iraq, are 95-100% Russian-made.

America does NOT hate Iran. Just their leadership. They are an oppressed people living under a tyrant and a handful of ruthless Islamic extremists that put him in power.

To hate that nation as a whole is simply ignorance. The majority of them would love to see the little hitler and that band of clerics go down in a plane crash.
