the simplest gift is a well worded hand written letter to each of them saying thank you. Unless either of them is in need of money then a material gift is not necessary. Tell them that you love them, and if you want to do something for them, when they need you be there for them.

A gift that you can give them is, your Love. A hand written letter ( not store boughten card ) have them come to your place for a home made dinner Just the ones that were be your side, and let them know. A moneitary gift of sorts I think would be more unpersonable. Show them that you have feeling enough to do something for them from your own heart.
And you had thought enough to do it for their hearts, maybe place a nice photo of your Father near or on the dinner table.

The best gift I can think of is to return the love that they showed to you and your father before his passing. That would be so much more meaningful.

I believe that others have said the best ones, a framed picture of your dad or just a thank you note personally written by you expressing your most deepest thoughts, etc.

for sure they will not accept anything from you for the help they have showered your father, but you can keep the bonding and the memories alive by always remembering them, visiting them and inviting them once in a while to dine out.
