Nationally, Southern Cal will be considered the best unless they lose. LSU did not look overpowering against Tulane yesterday, but managed to get rolling in the second half. I really believe there are a lot of very good teams this year in College Football. Cal beating Oregon puts that team in the top 5. Georgia is beginning to look very solid out of the SEC and South Florida should not be forgotten. Florida has a lot of talent and the loss to Auburn was a huge surprise, but they still could become a factor in the National Championship picture. This looks like the kind of year anything can happen, and I think we could see some really crazy upsets the rest of the way. Like Illinois in the Big 10. If I was Wisconsin or Michigan, I would be very worried about this team which appears to have really good team speed ala App State and Oregon. Ohio State has a really good chance to go undefeated again in the regular season in another lackluster Big 10. I hope for their sake they don't because another blow-out awaits them like last year against Florida if they make the BCS "Championship" game again this year. Winning in the Big 10 just doesn't mean you can beat the speed of the SEC or PAC 10 obviously. I think the best team in Florida is a tough question. I think UF might still be the best team in Florida even though USF beat Auburn and Auburn beat UF. Fla St looked good in beating Bama. I would love to see USF vs UF. I'm really impressed with So Florida and other than Cincinnati, I think this team matches up very well with all the teams left on their schedule. If the Bulls go undefeated, this team deserves a title shot and may just get it.

UF lost to Auburn.... who also lost to USF... USF is an extremely lucky team defeating a mediocre West Virginia offence lacking a starting QB... Yet they are un-defeated. The UM/FSU game on Oct 20 shall decide who is better... my vote is with FSU. FSU/UF on thanksgiving weekend will decide who the best college football team in FL. My vote again is for FSU. UF is over-rated, and will be lucky if Tim Tebow doesn't get hurt before the end of the season. I will also bet $100 that USF does NOT go undefeated this year. They do not look great... luck will not get you to the BCS.

Florida Gators, still fields the best team in Florida, they were just thinking of the other tigers that they play this coming Saturday at "DEAF Valley"
USF is a very close second and will be a force for years to come. They are close but not quite at the level of the Gators

That is very hard to say. Miami and FSU are definitely not at the same level as UF, but it would be interesting to see USF and UF play. A team like USF really has to prove themselves to be considered better than the defending national champions. I think this is a question to be asked later on in the season.

USC is the best in college football still. LSU is right behind them though. The 3,4 and 5 teams all lost, so it should be very interesting. South Florida could move up quite a bit in the ranking this week. They will be in the top 10.
