I've thought about how comfortable it would be and I'm thinking of doing it today. Has anyone else ever gone somewhere in public without shoes and in athletic pants or something similar?

I don't know what you meat by athletic pants. you mean like sweat pants..? socks are ok ive done that lots of times. but you cant go to the shopping mall. because the sign says " no shirt" no shoes" no service. I bet they wouldn't notice if you had socks on. how come it says "no shirt" no service. It didn't say "no pants". hey just wear a shirt and shoes. only. let me know how it goes ok?

i think you can but don't enter no stores/food places I think they have the sign "no shirt,no shoes=no service" so just becareful.But if you wanted to walk around the neighborhood like that it would be fine or maybe to the mail box or to a friends/neighbors house.
