512 MB is the capacity for the MP3 player. Every file (music, photos, video, anything) on your computer takes up space in the form of these MB (Megabytes). An MP3 file takes about 1 MB per minute, approximately, so your mp3 player should hold about 512 minutes of music. It will depend on how was the mp3 recorded, but I'm giving you an average.

CD gamers i'm no longer waiting for an ipod or mp3 participant yet... perhaps while i'm 40 in the event that they do no longer seem to be old with the aid of then (i'm 29). I somewhat have had my digicam for 3 years and there continues to be possibly a gaggle of stuff i do no longer understand the thank you to do with it yet. Texting, making telephone calls, and capturing is notably plenty all i will do with my cellular telephone. i do no longer choose for to pass with the aid of all the worry of downloading songs just to take heed to them every time everywhere without the skipping or scratching.

That is the capacity in file size the device can hold, each song you have on the computer has a mb value, every song you put on the player, adds up.

512 mb is the 'flash memory' size, on average, you will get 100 songs (max) on there, for the best sound quality, use windows media player to 'rip' the songs onto the player......
insert cd into computer and it will start the process....
