Truth is all encompassing. Truth is validation as well as comfirmation at once. There will come a time when truth will be veiled, and completely remove itself from all which is not a part of or connected to it. All along truth has been ever present. Truth is light, life and Love. Truth is power. Truth can be covered, hidden, evaded or denied because it is so kind; however, aftawhile truth will invade uninhibitedly all that is, to perfect revelation and affect life or death perminently. If presently truth is veiled then the shade has been drawn by the one upon whom it's brilliance is directed. Therefore since truth is all that, then it is wisest to capture and reflect truth as effectively as possible. There is no shame or death in truth. So if a shadow (or veil) exists, then it comes not from the source, and is merely able to block, not destroy, the origins of the light (or truth). Only when the shadow becomes one with darkness, and light has withdrawn her grace will hope retreat her warm embrace and void reign as common place. That is the truth, unveiled...take care...

Because you're looking for something that doesn't exist in the singular form. You know that truth isn't a big thing that can be achieved - there isn't a truth locked in a box like Pandora. The truth is everything real and honest in your life - and I'm sure there are many. All people's views of the world are true - and they're many. Truth as a single thing does not exist - there may be consensual things such as we need oxygen to breathe and so on and they are, therefore, true, but you can't properly look for THE truth as if you were in some kind of quest or as if we were in some kind of "The da Vinci code" world where everything is hidden from people. Surely, there are many things people don't know, that governments hide but it's always been like that - there will always be something you're not aware of or not allowed to know, but that doesn't make your own little truths less true.

Some truth is unveiled, while other truth is veiled. Depends on what you believe in and who you trust. If officials cover up events or incidents telling lies about it, then that's truth being veiled. Some times tough, you can see right through the veil that covers up the truth and see the truth for yourself.

You must be referring to objective truth in which case the opening of your eyes would make it subjective truth. If truth is still veiled then its because you haven't had a subjective experience to remove the veil. How do you KNOW (and not blindly assume someone else's claim) that the stove is hot without touching it?

Those who pursue the path of truth go through a process of understanding greater and fuller truths. So as our understanding deepens these veils are lifted one by one as we break through to the greater truths. It is a process of building truth, on greater truth in a never ending process while all of the time wondering why you never saw this new truth before. It also makes you realize that we are a human race that is concurrently experiencing nearly Seven billion different realities.

The truth is open and easy to see. You are veiled. Lift the veil from you life. People criticize what they can't understand. It's like explaining the concept of depth the people who live in a flat world. They just don't understand. Open yourself to the "4th dimension" even though you live in a three dimensional world.

It probably depends on which truth and which subject you are referring to. Some people will never believe the truth is told, because they are liars themselves and don't believe anyone tells the truth. Others believe that God hides the truth because it is too much for our feeble brains to understand. I believe the Government hides the truth all the time because there would be riots in the streets if we know the truth. And sometimes my truth is not your truth, our mores and values can color how we see things.

We see through a glass darkly.

But this is not because someone has pulled a veil over the truth, it is because our senses and minds are limited.

The truth is veiled because we are newbies.

Sadly there are those who lead others astray.
Whether it is done out of ignorance or for personal gain, it is still prevalent in the 21st Century. Additionally, our senses do not give a complete reality of the physical world. In many instances these subtleties are difficult to find and understand.

The exercise of learning is the unveiling of truth. The truth exists for us to discover and experience. We learn in order to become more evolved human beings, in both thought and spirit. That is our purpose.
