I prefer as it makes me more helpless to be handcuffed behind my back with a leg spreader

The only time I've ever been handcuffed was to the bed and my hands were neither in front nor behind me

I think that, in order to restrain someone who is a flight risk, handcuffing them makes good sense.
The cuffing in front or in back is based on the department's policy, and the officer's feeling about how dangerous the person is.

I'd cuff in the back, always more fun :D
I'm double jointed so if someone hand cuffed me behind me I could just pull my arms over in the front. :]

if u get cuffed by the police thay like to put ur arms behind
there back because thay dont want u to hert ur selff

only handcuff in front if they have shoulder problems or are pregnant or have on leg shackles...otherwise do it in back
