George H. W. Bush. He was a fighter pilot in WWII. Jimmy Carter was in the Navy during WWII.

George Bush Senior. WW11 Fighter Pilot. Combat Veteran. Shot down by the Japanese and ditched at sea.

Jimmy Carter. WW11: Navy. No Add information.

John F Kennedy. WW11: Navy. Combat Veteran. PT Boat Captain. Boat rammed night time and almost sliced in two by Japanese Navy who were unaware they'd ploughed into a PT Boat. Captain Kennedy instrumental in saving his crew. During which period he suffered back injuries which were constant sources of pain and discomfort for the remainder of his life

In what order the Three (3) presidents served albeit during the entire US involvement in WW11 or at later short or long term periods I have no information.

Interesting fact about JFK though.
He actually used his father's political connections to get him into combat. It was a different generation from the one that followed.

George H.W. Bush, but why is everybody saying he was a fighter pilot? Not true. He drove a dive bomber. In one bomb run, he was shot down, losing both of his crew members. That's pretty up close and personal.
