Motherboards based on the i845 chipset supports 4X AGP. If your motherboard has an AGP slot, then use. Install an AGP card. Even an 8X AGP card should work there. But do not get the fast and powerful ones. They will just be bottlenecked by the 4x slot. 7300GS AGP or 7300GT AGP should be fine.

PCI bus is SLOW. PCI graphics cards are NOT ideal for games. PCI slot can only handle 25 watt device. Powerful cards could just overload the slot.

it has an agp slot , so you can only use agp video on it .. pci will not give you better video performance .. however a pci express would.. but it dont have that slot for it .. by the way that mother board is made by MSI

845PE is a chipset, not a motherboard.
