when i put them on they tick and creak so loudly. we have already bled them.

the problem is that the noise is so loud. also they keep doing it even when they
are totally hot

it is actually only 2 radiators in teh whole house that do this.

the clicking is natural from the heating up of the registers.

warm things expand, cool things contract.

stop unnecessarily bleeding the radiators.

You can't, unless you stop using them!

Ticking sounds are part of the expansion / contraction of the materials as they heat up and cool down.

This is perfectly all right as the other poster said it is the rads heating up that makes the sounds you also should only bother bleeding rads if they are not heating up evenly.

The pipes rub on wood trim or framing members when expanding and contracting. Find the rub point and slip cardboard in between the pipe and the wood.

I have one like this, I don't know what is is, the metal or ? but, there always seems to be one that keeps "ticking" away like it wants to let you know it's working. I do know when they come on this way.
