I had watched this series of videos before - and there just is this context about his life and those women who chose to be with him that you have to be aware of. Needless to say he was not a feminist - but doesn't everyone know that? Some of his work can be tough to take for a female audience - but that was him. I do think he could sense who had worth and what exactly that worth consisted of. Also there is not a lot you can do about a man who is so utterly disillusioned about women. I don't know why anyone would even try. He was one of those people you either accept or otherwise stay away from. BTW there was also Tom Waits reading The Laughing Heart! Yay!

Sure if you call having your fiance whose a wanna be actor dump you because he's cheating on you with some wannabe actress in NY and living in a room the size of a closet with 2 roommates who hate you and love to party and talk about you behind your back a glamourous life!
But it's not all bad, I have 2 great friends now and we hang out :)

No, I live a mediocre life, as also my family always did. Glamorous life-style is for newly rich fellows.

i would love that but realisticly i could never have one (even if i was very rich) just because i'm quite a sloppy person. but who cares i don't mind being this way.

no, not really but everyone thinks I am because I have a nice house and car, a beautiful daughter and my husband works but I do not.
