I am getting one on Thursday and i am so scared!! I hate them!!! =(

yeah! they completely freak me out! there are actually a couple of vaccines i didnt take coz they scare me! a while ago they had 2 take some blood from me 4 an iron test, i played some music really loud & kept staring at the wall, even after they told me it was over.

Used too hate them .... but once you get pregnant the amount of blood they take from you, you get so use to it.
Tip - make sure you have had water before hand, if you are dehydrated it makes them alot harder to find a vein etc..

Yeah, I remember a grade school immunisation that hurt for days. :( But I've found that they don't seem to hurt as much as they used to. The other day at the dentist, I didn't even feel the injection at all. :)

What helps me is to close your eyes, take slow deep breaths and to really relax as much as possible. It won't hurt so much then. If you can try to imagine being anywhere but there.

sure, when I think about it it's scary, however if I drink milk prior to leaving the house, and then look away and am talking about something when it happens, I'm fine.

they don't really bother me. Well , actually one in the head would bother me, a lot, but basically I'm ok with them.
