I am applying for one of the most eminent investment banks. My problem is that my undergrad GPA is pretty low. I graduated from one of the best technical schools in the world. Otherwise, I have done very well in other exams. Should I mention my grades in the resume?

NO. This will only detract from your application if your grades were not good. Chances are, they will ask you in the application anyway, but don't draw undue attention to your weaker aspects. Try to focus attention on the fact that you graduated from a great school, not that you scored poorly.

No, unless you have an excellent GPA, don't include it in your resume. It would only give you a reason to exclude you that they may not have considered. If it matters to them, they can ask you. If not, don't tip them off to something negative that they may not have cared about until you brought it up.

In general, you wouldn't want to be listing your GPA unless you got a 3.7 (solid A) or above.

If they're below 3.5 I'd leave them off.

If they're interested in you, they'll find out in the offer stage.

If it's a weak point, leave it out. Let them ask if they really want to know.

dont apply for the job if you feel you're below par and others will outshine you. but if its a good school...maybe the reputation will carry you through?
