i have a friend and he has met a few filipina girls online, when they see his pic or cam, they call him GWAPO, what does this mean? i am also a bit tanned is this a racial reference? or are they mocking him?

sir, those girls think that your friend is good looking enough for them. this word "gwapo" refers to a persons facial feature to be appealing and pass their own standard of a good looking person.

GWAPO means handsome...its means the girls are admiring your friend...its a sweet compliment....its not mocking...so if u happen to meet girls online and they say GWAPO to you...then be happy and say thank u {if u think u are ;) }
