Most systems will have no problem.

Make sure that you do not block any air vents.

The only think that might be an issue is the CD or DVD drives. sometimes theres are not designed to operate on their sides.

Most have little tabs on the tray so that the disk will stay in place while the tray is opened and closed, so see if you have tabs that can slide or be moved to hold the CD.

If not then a new optical drive might be needed. Do not try to use a drive without the tabs, you can scratch the surface, jam the tray or damage the CD which can then break up in the drive.

In the old days, it used to give problems with hard disks, but as far as I know, it's safe to use 'em this way.

Maybe it's also not a good idea to have your monitor too close to the power supply, but IF anything happens, it should only be noticeable through the quality of the image on your screen.

Most of the time, yes.

I don't know if yours can do it. I don't know anything about your PC in perticular. If your asking this question i wouldn't risk it.

Don't put it on the side that it opens from though that would be bad. It may be kind of hard to get a CD in and i wouldn't flip it over upside down :p

It shouldn't be a problem, but you should be careful. Both the monitor and CPU have great amounts of electricity current running through and it may result in an accident.

Some CD and DVD drives are not designed to operate on their
side.If you are talking about a tower, most of them will not support much weight on the side panels.

The computer will be ok sideways or upside down, but hard drives are not made to run upside down. This will place extra strain on them, and they are likely to fail prematurely You should check your hard drive orientation in the position which you want to place your computer.

It will work with no problems, just keep the area free from air flow restrictions and venting.
