You have not indicaqted which punctuation mark you are referrinbg to./ If it is a dot, then it is called as Full Stop in India.

A period is normally a dot (.) isntit? Itz FULLSTOP (am I spelled it correctly?!) in India.

Indians usually call it the fullstop ! The Indian version of a fullstop (used in Indian languages) is " Purnaviram"- in Hindi, Marathi, Gujarati, Bengali and many other Indian languages.
