OK is it just me or have the Foo Fighters all of a sudden gotten really big? It's like...I turn to MTV and I'm watching commercials and other stuff and all I'm seeing is Foo Fighters. Why did they get so big all of a sudden?

Well, it could be because of their new album.

I think the lead single is bad though. Not that I ever really liked the Foo Fighters...

The Foo Fighters have been on the top of their game for a while. They just released a new album andthe first single off of it so that's why they appear to be everywhere right now. It's all about the marketing.

I agree with RoVale as well. The Foos to me are a much more creative and invigorating band than Nirvana ever was.

The Foos have always been great! (One of the best bands ever in my humble opinion.) It's not necessarily the Foo Fighters that have become big all of a sudden, it's the genre as a whole that has become more popular. They just happened to release their new album at a time when rock music is more popular than it has been in years.

Foo Fighters are an amazing band who are gradually rising higher and higher by the day! They just came out with a brand new album titled 'Echoes, Silence, Patience & Grace' which released on September 25th. It is one of the most anticipated albums of this year! 'The Pretender' was their first single and its reached #1 in many places.

I actually enjoy this group more that Nirvana, which was Dave Grohl's previous band. In my opinion, the songs are more memorable and the musicianship is tighter.

They were big before. Yeah, they are coming back pretty strong. My favorite song by them is "Learn To Fly." It came out in 1999.
