My question is not can you but why would you want to? I would think that high heel shoes would hurt your feet after all the walking you're going to have to do!
I'd suggest wearing comfortable slip on shoes that are easy to remove for the airport security screening and pack the sharp, pointy high heels in your suitcase!

Mace and high heels are two completely different things. You should be okay. I think high heels are better anyways cause you won't have to take off your socks while going through security.

They may ask you to take them off as you go through the metal scanner as the sole of a high heel is supported by a metal bar/plate and that will set off the detectors, but once through you (and they have x-rayed them) you can put them back on.
