You're barking up at the wrong backyard. So, don't judge a book by it's cover because you're not a judge and i'm not a book. It seems right now, do you feel alone by yourself?***
If you'll let me lick yours, I'll let you lick mine. ( I'm referring to icecream on a cone, of course... )
Charity is still the best policy.

What about "Don't judge my brother, he is not a book!".
Famous line from Melanie Marquez, in the heat of the Kris Aquino-Joy Marquez brouhaha.

I think it doesn't carry the validity it did many years ago.
People are constantly changing...from culture to culture, city to city, attitude to attitude.
How many friends do we have that we can honestly say we have known for let's say...20 years?
Times they are a changing...I think Bob Dylan sang that tune before its time!

Isn't the correct saying "tell me who your friends are, and I'll tell you who you are"?? Oh well, your version is close enough.
And here's ours: "Gutterminds think alike." HAHAHA
