No i think this is disgusting unless you are going to throw out what you are reading after you finish. There are minute air borne particals of feaces that spread everywhere when in the toilet especially if you flush with the lid up. That is why it is a definate no no to have magazines stored in the toilet. Surely it can't take that long. Why not use this time to THINK!!

LOL - yes. And there are catalogs to look through in case someone needs some "sit down" time and doesn't have a book to hand.

It's pretty common as long as there isn't a lot of competition for the room. It's the one quiet place a lot of people have.
