I dont understand the fascination and acceptance of people such as Britney Spiers, Pete Doherty and the rest of these limited talent celebs.

I guess because printing what these idiots do sells more papers. Therefore its not down to the papers themselves, rather more to the public who buy them!

You'll notice that the good role models rarely get the same sort of coverage.

Some people take drugs, and some industries are rife with them.... We're lucky to have privacy... One of the luxuries celebs don't have.
I think you'd be surprised to discover quite a lot of the people you encounter on a day to day basis have one form of a vice or another.
No one is idolised purely because they use drugs... Britney's music is not my cup of tea but The Libertines and even Babyshambles to some degree were notable bands...
