I remember when I started masturbating in my young teen years and I could do it multiple times a day and it was great. Recently (I'm in my early 20's) I've been thinking that maybe it isn't as good as it was then (now I do it once a day). How long do you need to wait for it to be really good?

The recovery time is different across guys , some can continue straight after an orgasm without even losing erection and others need a bit of a gap For a young teen in puberty most are masturbating at least once every day , often more than this Your own body will tell you if you are over doing things , From memory when I was mid teens I was masturbating twice a day most days and occasionally more often But you are right if you do not masturbate for a couple of days the orgasm you have will be much more intense and usually produce more fluid , so keep those tissues handy !!! otherwise it can get a bit messy

I don't know why someone said a couple of weeks. I'm in my early 20's and I masturbate at least 3 times a day. If you wait along time you'll just go quick and have a bigger mess to clean up. I suggest taking your time, and finding things that really turn you on. You can also try pressing on the area between your balls and asshole while you're close to orgasm, but release when you climax. It puts pressure on your prostate, which is like the male G spot. Good luck!

It's not necessarily waiting between. It's all about priming the pump, so to speak. I've found that as I've gotten older that taking a little more time, edging or just slowing up to heighten my excitement levels, enjoying the ride as much as the arrival, really puts a bang back into it. Also, try mixing up things a little. Different techniques, etc. Check out www.jackinworld.com for lots of ideas.

But yeah, the penny isn't as shiny as it was when I first got it. I think partly it's the whole new sensation of it that made it so good as young teens. Like a new toy.

Masturbation is relaxing, pleasant, enjoyable, harmless, healthy, normal, and contributes to restful sleep if done before going to bed.

Masturbation relieves pain from overfilled seminal vesicles. Frequent masturbation prevents wet dreams. Regular ejaculation is associated with better prostate health. Masturbation is a great stress reliever.

One may masturbate as much or as little as one wishes. There is amount of time that one must wait before doing it again. Some teens find they need to do it three times a day. You may do it again whenever you feel ready.

One may do it in any place where one has privacy. There is no upper or lower age limit for masturbation.

In bed at night or in the shower are two favorite places to masturbate.

The internally-lubricated movable nerve-laden, erogenous foreskin and its gliding action is an important aid to masturbation.

Circumcision was introduced to unforeskin the penis and make it impossible to masturbate. It did not stop masturbation but it made it harder to do and perhaps less enjoyable.

How one does it depends on whether one has an internally lubricated movable foreskin that glides up and down the shaft or whether you have been unforeskinned.

If you are foreskinned, then all you need to do is glide your foreskin back and forth. The foreskin is internally lubricated with lymphatic fluid and glides without friction. The numerous nerves inside the foreskin are stimulated by the motion and generate pleasurable sensations.

Long and vigorous masturbation can cause the foreskin to become edematous and swollen, which is painless and not a cause for alarm. The edema usually goes down within about 24 hours. Pulling back too hard is apt to stretch the frenulum and may tear it.

If you are unforeskinned and the skin is taut and immovable, then you will need some lubrication and you need to slide your hand up and down the shaft. You will likely injure yourself without lubricant. Friction burns are common when a male without foreskin masturbates without lubricant. Some lubricants are baby oil, vegetable oil, personal lubricant, soapy water, and saliva.

It is common for an unforeskinned male, who has been deprived of his internally lubricated foreskin, to have friction irritation if he does not apply external lubricant.

There is no real limit, you can masturbate until you go dry, though this will place added strain to your testicles.

As a general rule of thumb, no more that 3 times in a period of 3 hours.

Each person is different. Listen to your body, and it will tell you when to masturbate, eat, sleep, etc. It is when we do not listen that we get into trouble.
