I have inspired many individuals & families over the past 12 years to adopt animals from our local Humane Society and our county animal shelter! Gentle persuasion and having the facts on hand seem be what are needed! I am elated everytime a homeless animal becomes a cherished new family member!

When my cousin was young, I took her to Take Your Daughter to Work day with me. I stopped on the way into the building to buy my newspaper for the day, and the machine was broken. It wasn't closing after you got your paper. I put a note inside for the proprietor to tell them of the problem. Then I paid for my paper and made sure the door closed properly. She asked me why I didn't just take it. I told her that someone was counting on that money. Someone with a paper route for a job, not some millionaire newspaper owner - not that it matters. For every action there is an equal and opposite reaction, and while newton may have been talking about physics, I was talking about karma and the fact that you should do what's right even if no one is looking. Years later, she wrote me a letter and told me I had truly inspired her that day. She never got that kind of life example from her parents. I did not recall this particular event until I read her letter. She told me I made her want to be a better person. She is in college now and is probably the only child in her family who will ever attend. She is making her way in life, working with the mentally handicappednight and on weekends. I think she is an amazing young woman, but that letter from her - out of the blue - was the most amazing thing that ever happened to me. I am helping her with her stats homework again next weekend. Since that day, I feel more like she is my daughter than my cousin. I am also glad to see that she is teachiing her nieces that for every action there is an equal and opposite reaction.

There's been a few times:

Recently my teacher from last year read this piece of writing I wrote to her class this years. When she finished reading and looked up at the class, two girls were crying and amazed.

I'm not sure if you're aware of a program called AVID but it's about college. I went to an AVID Institute as a student helper and got the opportunity to teach teachers about the program. I had speeches about who I want to be, how collage is important. Many teachers came up to me through out the whole week of the institution and told me I was inspiring and a great influence.

Another time was when my school was in state testing. We had to write an essay on the person who is our hero and who we admirer. My best friend wrote about me. She wrote on how I'm strong and never give up. I was really grateful for that.

Yes. Someone was having a tough time trying to make it with positive thoughts and all they were getting was a bad deal in life from friends and family. They were getting nowhere all too fast. I sent them some verses from Sun Tzu's The Art Of War and they were very grateful and even asked how many variations of his work there are.
Knowing that someone will take the time to learn something new always makes me feel great. As long as they don't abuse the knowledge.

John i'm quite sorry to your torment and that i visit desire for you. you could desire to regain your existence and your faith. Demon Oppression is easy. each so often this is person-friendly and each so often in circumstances like yours this is severe. you could no longer sense on my own or that Jesus would not have time to your sins. this is area of devil's cycle. as quickly as you lose faith it is hard for the torment to be lifted. i could seek for out a minister, pastor, or non secular handbook to make it easier to thru this. frequently being a Christian isn't adequate. It takes understanding the doorways that have been opened to permit for demonic oppression and the last them. The devil can in basic terms tempt you with issues you will have an interest in. this is attainable to triumph over this by ability of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
