I really need help with my algebra 2.?

Question

this is the question please help.

f(a)=2a+3 oh and I need it worked out please

for each fuction find f(-5),f9-3),f(1/2) and
f(4) please.

f ( a ) = 2a + 3
f ( - 5 ) = -10 + 3 = - 7
f ( - 3 ) = - 6 + 3 = - 3
f (1/2) = 1 + 3 = 4
f ( 4 ) = 8 + 3 = 11

This is a x,y graph; but you need to also include your negatives on the graph. It is a good idea to start w/ f(0) for a "control"; this gives you a clue (if you need it) for determining where the negative and positieve answers are likely to fall. For this reason, f(0) is below. Btw, f(a) is another way in algebra to say y.

f(a)= 2a+3 where a=0
f(0)=2(0)+3
f(0)=0+3
f(0)=3

now just replace zero w/ the other four numbers and plot on a graph; you're done.

The solution to this would be a graph. Using a traditional x/y graph and letting a = x it would be a simple graph with a slope of 2 and a y intercept of 3.

You can write a list of points if you want.
f(0) = 3
f(1) = 5
f(2) = 7

and so on.
