If you have a social security number, that is your TIN. Individuals with social security numbers do not need to obtain a separate TIN.

Do you mean your ITIN number (Individual Temporary Identificate Number)

If this is what you are asking, if you cannot receive a SSN you would need to apply for this number with form W-7.
