I am scared of her getting pregnant but feel as if this is the only option if we are to have intercourse. What should I do? I her birth control good enough? Or am I going to be a daddy soon?

As long as your girlfriend takes her birth control pills exactly as she should (everyday, same time each day), she should be fine. Having said that, there is no form of birth control that is 100% effective, except for abstinence.

If you are not in a monogamous relationship with your girlfriend, condoms are a must. Further, condoms should be used until both of you are sure neither one has been exposed to any STDs in any other relationships. This means both of you should be tested if you haven't already done this.

Sadly, more than one lady in the past has claimed to be on birth control to get a baby. I'd proceed with caution... especially if you haven't been together for a very long time.

If she thinks condoms are only for birth control, she may unwittingly be exposing herself to stds, that of course depends on how long you've been together and if she knows you've both tested clean (once at the beginning, and once again at the 6 month mark of monogomy, before stopping using condoms, since STDs can take over a month or two to pop up in tests)

You wouldn't pressure a lady into having sex without a condom, and it's no better for this one to be pressuring you!

Honestly man I would say watch out because you could care about her or love her ( I don't know how you feel) but it really could be a trap. You won't be there everytime she is suppposed to take it which means you won't know if she did or not. It's just one of those things to watch out for. You need to have complete trust in this situation because you could be screwed.

But on the other hand birth control is very effective when used properly. It's just one of those decisions that you will have to make.

Birth control pills are 99% effective when used correctly---i.e. no missing any pills the whole month, taking it the same time every day, etc. Also, it takes 1-2 months of being on it before it is effective against pregnancy.

That said, birth control doesn't protect against STDs, so you should definitely use condoms too, for both your protection!

If she is on the pill, it does not protect against STD's or AIDs.

Find a condom she DOES like.

With birth control, nothing is 100% effective, so please also take that into consideration. And if she forgets to take a pill, or use any contraceptive other than how it is prescribed, it lessens the 99% effectiveness of contraceptives.

If YOU dont want a baby, even if she is on birth control - (you never know if she is taking it right or on time unless you watch her swallow it everyday), use a condom! If she doesn't like it, too bad. If she does get pregnant, are you two going to be able to take care of it? Are you ready? I say, better to be safe than sorry.

Wow! Dude! Trust is so important in a real relationship, and you're wondering if she might trick you into marrying her?!! You tell her no condoms, no fukkie.

She could cheat on you one time, and you could get Aids. Just think about that for a minute. Talk about RUINING YOUR WHOLE LIFE FOREVER!! Please, be careful. Just tell her you've heard about a lot of women who have gotten pregnant on the pill (which is SO true,) and you're not ready for that.

If she forgets her pill just ONE day, she could get pregnant. She's putting you in a rough spot! Once again, please be careful. Before you ever have sex without a condom, you have to trust her completely not to cheat on you, and you both have to be tested for STDs. Please remember that. Good luck, hon. :)

It takea a full month for birth controle to fully kick in. But i still wouldnt risk it. Besides you run the risk of AIDs if she has had other partners.

If she uses the birth control properly, it is over 99% effective.

Dude, are you 100% sure she's taking her birthcontrol correctly? IF she is, you're covered most likely. Make sure she's disease and STD free though if you're gonna hit that commando style, uncovered.
