have you ever asked a completly stupid random question and people take you soooo seriously that they give you all these technical answers? are they just being ironic or do they really not get it?

also why is it that people have no sense of humor? isn't part of the reason people do this stuff is so that they can laugh at themselves and others? and not in a derogatory way. just because someone asks a stupid question doesnt mean they are a stupid person, they just ahave a healthy sense of humor. what do you think?

You're not giving the people on this site any credit for trying.
There are basically two kinds of people that spend time on this Yahoo Answers site.
1. Stupid people that ask stupid questions and usually give stupid answers to others. They are rude and inconsiderate.
2. Nice people that ask intelligent questions deserving of inteligent answers, and also answer others intelligently, or at least try.
I pride myself in taking the time to help others.
What's your excuse?

They probably think that the question is supposedly a question that isn't facetious. More of a serious answer and they think that they should do something to show you to be serious.
Ya know?
Sometimes things get too serious and you start thinking "oh, well i was just wondering, don't have to be so serious." But some people think that being serious will get you picked as the best answer.
