I don't like this guy, but, I'm really really shy around him, I just can't talk to him. I feel like some how he might think I like him because I was initially so outgoing and bubbly, But....It feels like I'm in prison not talking to him since he is my boss, in fact, I need to be proactive. I really don't like him...how can I talk to him but not make him think I like him...but be able to be myself?

Zara,
that this is so much on your mind says you at least find him attractive. Just be professional, without overt enthusiasm, and it should stay professional. He is your boss, you have to talk to him. Don't spend a lot of time looking him in the eyes, or avoiding his eyes. If this isn't working, see a counselor who can help you devise a good plan.

Just be your normal, outgoing self.

You obviously have realized that you DON'T like him and you DON'T think he's attractive...which means you're good to go.

Just go back to being yourself, don't worry about how you act, and just be confident. Who cares if he gets the wrong idea anyway? He may already think you like him.

Just cheer up, pretend it was a faze and go back to being-yourselfdom.

Good luck!
