Since moving to Dallas, Texas, I've seen some gigantic cockroaches. I grew up in Eugene, Oregon, and we just didn't have any cockroaches to speak of. Now they're everywhere! No matter how clean we are, I keep seeing them outside and every once in awhile one in the kitchen or bathroom. I think they might come in through the pipes. So, what's the deal with all these damn cockroaches here, and what's the biggest one you've ever seen? I saw one, I think it may have been the "queen roach," that was easily 3 inches long - but it looked like it had wings!

Hi , there is real big one at my Sisters house. She refers to it as her husband ,and has even named it! She calls it ,"Dave" ! I was only joking, and just had to say that! Really , I have seen them that big. I live in So. California, and the first time they ever came out at our house, (We were about 9 , my sister and myself) It was about eleven o'clock at night. Our Dad and Mom and one of our older sisters was watching the news and all of the sudden, Thousands and thousands ( no joke) of them came crawling down from the tops of the walls! And they must have been two to three inches long! Dad started using the vacuum to sweep them up with! Anyways since then, there has been an infestation of them. The City called them, "Oriental Water Roaches",but never the less, they are roaches! They breed in the city's sewer lines. Now I see very few. Maybe they went to Texas! Har-Har Har. No really ,try putting some Diatamatious Earth all around the foundation of your house. That kills them. It gets in their scales and smothers them. And your right , they do come from the pipes! Byee
