Always! Not that I believe a depression is coming. However I do think we are in store for a recession within the next year or so.

I've got a minimum 6 months of living expenses saved in cash. I've also got a wide range of investments, some of which will sure take a plunge, but others should do OK.

I am not worried. This country has managed through the last 8 years of economic uncertainty so I am not concerned about the next 8. Only alarmists are worried.

I actually think that if [ at all ] such a depression strikes the US, it is more equipped to manage it, than it was, during the great depression.
