Only if Congress continues to pass legislation that really should be crafted by individual states.
Lately, Congress has been ignoring the Bill of Rights, using that "you cannot shout fire in a crowded theater" excuse (that limited First Amendment freedom), as a justification to legislate over any of the first 10 amendments as they please.
"Once the door is open a crack, they will push it wide open."

In 1861 there was a civil war to decide the issue of state's rights. The South wants more rights then the industrial states of the North. Now a days, with companies in all 50 states. People moving from state to state all the time. Universal news. Basically there is no state that can say it is different than any other state, except for population. Key West once declared its independence from Florida. Miami turned their fresh water off for a day. That ended the succession.

The United States can be separated if the people wanted it to happen even without the consent of the government through a revolution.

It's highly unlikely to happen soon.
Unless there's an enormous upset inside the government, it'll stay the same for the forseeable future.
Anyway, there's no reason for states to separate from the U.S. Without the combined power of the states, the U.S. would no longer be a superpower. We would be extremely vulnerable to attack.
