It's mainly because of hard times, but...I do admit my hard times have been going on for a *long* time now....long enough for it to get under my skin, screw with my head, and maybe *make* that cynicism my "normal personality" as an adaptation.
Really, after a while, you do start to forget when times were good. You start to wonder if things haven't *always* sucked like this.
But hey....it could be worse. ^_^ I've had worse.
Thanks for your time. ^_^

I've always been a bit cynical, but it tends to be more prominent when I'm going through a tough time.

Thank you for reminding me. I have been out of work for 4 months now. I am beggining to us it as an excuse to be somewhat cantankerous. It is not my normal personality!

both...usually it is due to hard times...but that is only because you are prone to being that way because it is part of your normal personality...
now if u were my brother buk...it would be because of your normal personality...and the result of being brought up by a pack of wild dogs...
