It depends on your perceptive of the situation. All interracial couples face flack every now and then. But the main reason why black women and white men get talked about more is because it is still rare to see that kind of relationship, compare to black men and white women which is common and normal. Secondly, their is a double standard women are expected to solely be loyal and date/marry only the men of their race while men can date and marry whoever. Another reason is that people jump to conclusions and assume that black women are only with white men for their money, for status, or because they think they are to good for black men which is not the case. I don't have a problem with any interracial couple, why limit yourself when it comes to love.

Society is double sided. They see black women as slave wh---res. So we aren't good enough to date. Also, we are seen as inferior and was once the White man's concubines and we were once very desired. Hence the term Malatto. Today because of this we are hated and society tries to hold us down from repeating this era. Also, there is this crazy double standard about Black women having to be true to her race. This is a very double standard that needs to be changed in the USA, as this is different over seas. Black women date whomever they want over there. Now, black women do date white men but white men do not come out like white woman and he does this in the dark.

I dont know why this still happens, but obviously some people are just really jealous, insecure and racist. Im black and I date white men, so I dont really give a sh!t if people like that have a problem with the skin colour of my boyfriends/dates. IT IS NONE OF THEIR BUSINESS! Just two days ago, I was with this new guy Im seeing and we were getting looks again, but thankfully, he is more aware of stuff like that since he prefers to date black women and he is kinda used to it.
I'd tellyour friend: IGNORE THE HATERS.

Black men/white women relationships are more common in society than black women/white men relationships are. Whenever i see a black male with a white woman, i do stare, but it's not a big deal. Whereas, when it's a black woman with a white man, then ppl tend to stare more cuz it's kind of uncommon and werid looking. I do stare at those couples, i admit it. I kind of disapprove of them. But, i hate when Black men call Black women sellouts, when they are dating white women at the same time, how hypocrital is that! I date IR myself, i'm Panamanian, but i don't like black men that go around bashing Black women for dating IR, when they are doin it with me. I would get mad and leave them for that, i am no one's trophy wife, and i don't date ignorant, hypocritical Black men, i like my men educated.

I think it is OK. I just worry about the people who do not think it's OK and cause trouble for people in such a relationship. There are some mean and ignorant people out there.

I think everyone should keep to who is more like them. If you love that person stay with them, if you hate that person stay way from them. I think that works best! lol
Thought I was saying something else huh? Boy oh boy, thanks for the support...
