I can connect to the internet but can't able to access any web site. It's sending packages but not receiving any packages.
What should I do?

power down and power up modem. Wait until lights settle. If you have a router, power down and up. Finally reboot.
All of your DHCP addresses wil be renewed.

This happens to me every once in a while when the high-speed internet that I use thru my home network goes down. Try re-starting the computer, checking your modem and router (if you're on a network), making sure that the cables are plugged in and programs are installed correctly (if you're on a network) and being patient. Things'll work out!

Unplug your router and modem to do this, wait like a minute or two. When you reconnect, plug in the modem first and wait for all the light to come on and reset itself. Plug in the router and do the same. You have to follow this sequence. Good luck.

go to run and type CMD hit enter -- then type PING and hit enter -- your IP address should renew.
Then type Ping Yahoo.com to see if your getting to the net.
