what should i do to make it bigger

The happier the chicken is, the larger eggs it will lay. To see how happy your chicken is, you need to click on the inventory tab at the bottom left part of the touchpad (by the map and rucksack buttons). Then click on the chicken that is shown and it will list the chickens and the hearts are how happy they are.
To increase their happiness, you need to feed & pet & water them every day. Also it helps if you let them outside in nice weather and let them forage in grass. You will slowly start to see the number of hearts below increase with the care you give them.
It takes a while, so don't get your hopes up, but good luck.

Make your chickens happy. Feed them, groom then, pick them up. If you do that every day they'll like you better, and as they like you better they begin to drop bigger eggs.
