Assuming that you don't have to lose one to choose the other...
I'd actually choose better looking these days. If it didn't ding my intellect, I would. Read some of my other Answers here sometime....I don't need to be any *more* brainy, given my life circumstances.
But I could use something to help me out socially, to fit in better.
Sorry to go against the grain here....thanks for your time. ^_^

Many people have told me that I am very intelligent but I have never thought that myself. So, I guess I must posess a bit of intelligence. With that being said, my intelligence has not made my life any easier and in some ways more difficult.
My choice would be to make myself better looking since intelligence is not always a good thing. I have learned through my 38 years that ignorance can truly be bliss.

This is actually a great question. I don't think I can give a straight answer for it though. I mean on one hand being more intelligent would probably guarantee me sagacity and more critical thinking for some of life's obstacles. But on the other hand, being more attractive allows me less awkward social situations. Even though I'm not ugly, I'm not overwhelmingly good-looking either. And I am often the social outcast because I'm sort of shy. I notice that many attractive people have the word-choice and attitude of an ADD-diagnosed eight year old, and have an abundance of friends. So I suppose having good looks may give me an edge in making friends, despite how shallow and close-minded that sounds.
I dunno.

Easy - more intelligent. Hopefully this would make me smart enough to not be so vain, but if not that hopefully more smarts would mean more money, then I can go to California where all the plastic surgeons live and they can make me beautiful. Also, beauty fades much more quickly than intelligence.

Intelligence. Beauty is in the eye of the beholder and is but a fleeting thing

More intelligent because I like to challenge myself to discover and learn more things. Becoming brainier would provide me with the necessary foundation for in-depth learning. i would rather others recognise me for my intelligence rather than looks because people have always recognised me for the latter (looks) first before they slowly discover I'm more to a pretty face.
