In your American Constitution, There is nothing written down, that requires normal, people, with salaried jobs, to pay income tax?

I keep posting this question and no one picks it. up

It's not constatutional, for you to pay taxes.

Only Company tax is written into the Constitution.

And then, the salaries that the owners/sharholder draw from the company is not taxable.

I will have to get the exact page and details.

I suggest that you consult a lawyer before you try this defense...taxes are laws, not in the constitution. But they are laws, never the less. Try running a red light and see how far that gets you....that is not in the constitution either. AND carry a concealed gun with no permit...you have the right to bear arms...but I bet you will be arrested and convicted, Constitution or not! There are so many laws in the US, some simply preposterous, dating from 100's of years ago, that make no sense. In some areas, you cannot, by law, chew tobacco in public on Sunday! (disgusting habit, but that is no never mind). If I were you, I would pay my taxes in a timely manner and not rely on the constitution in this matter...others have tried many different ploys to evade taxation, few, if any, have won anything but a huge fine added to the taxes. There are some who have gone to prison playing the same game.

Yes, I've heard that, and I've met at least one person who successfully got out of paying the IRS. I don't know how he did it or how much he spent over what period of time to accomplish it. He was a lawyer. In the U.S. we pay for convenience, and it's convenient not to start a war with the federal government, because guess who'll probably win? The IRS is brutal. I'm pretty sure that's why most people just pay it. Supposedly there is some benefit to paying taxes, like national defense, the drug war, and things like that.

Did you know about the folks who refused to pay taxes, were convicted of tax evasion, and went home. The government has sent people to keep an eye on them, but they refuse to pay the taxes because it is not constitutional. This is an ongoing story and has been for several months.

They didn't pay because NO ONE, including the U. S. Government could show them where, constitutionally, they are required to pay taxes.

I may not agree with their stand, but too many people have been asked this question and refused an answer, including members of my distant family.

A constitutional fact that you and a handful of other self-taught constitutional lawyer knuckleheads believe.

The Constitution clearly directs the creation and operation of the government. It clearly directs the various branches to provide various services and play a specific role in deciding these services and how to fund them. It gives the branches the power to enact laws and/or regulations. A law was enacted to pay for these services in part through an income tax. An executive branch department created the regulations to facilitate this tax.

Pay your share and shut up.
