Yea if it's an uncomfortable silence where someone has just been embarassed or when I don't know how to start a conversation with someone.

OMG - absolutely NO!!!!!!!!!!!
I am always the one who says something.
I never even let the silence get to prolonged - after about 10 seconds I start talking.

Dammit, i became heavily gona ask a query approximately awkward silence... yet you beat me to the punch, plus I probably does no longer get as lots solutions... *sigh* i think of it rather is authentic, reason it occurs to me each and every of the time, I in basic terms make it worse if i attempt to declare some random theory...
