are you more likely to answer questions by a poster with a real picture, a yahoo avatar, or no avatar at all. or does it make a difference?

hmm. i never really thought about it before. but i suppose if someone has an avatar they have a likelier chance of me answering their question than someone who doesn't because it catches my attention.

Not really, because most of the avatars are just the little cartoons. I am more likely to read a question with an avatar (any avatar) than one with the generic little face. I figure if someone hasn't taken the time to make up an avatar, their question is probably boring. I know that's not very nice, though.
