Bush said we are winning. He said the surge was working. He said he was bringing 5700 troops home by Christmas and another 25,000 by July of next year. Then he asked for $190 billion (the largest one year amount yet) to fund the war for next year. Why is the Liberal media not jumping all over that???? somebody needs to answer for this.

None of their children. Keep in mind that there will be ten times that many that were maimed. And if any one cares there were 1.2 million Iraqis that were killed. This is in a country of 34 million. All this because Bush wanted to pre-empt violence.
