This season in college football has been filled with upsets every week, It seems like no one can win games if they are ranked to high, did Michigan curse everyone by losing to Appalachian State. LSU and Cal were they only top ten teams that really won the way the should of.

NO! well, maybe Hawaii. But if you actually play a real schedule, then no, it's never safe, never a given.

I'm happy for California and South Florida. hope they keep doing well. But I'll never desert my boys, even after a loss...

GO GATORS! Put this one behind you and get ready for the other tigers...

No team is safe! Not a curse, the talent is becoming more wide spread.

I think all the top ten teams with the exception of Ohio State and Cal played pretty crappy.

However, you have to give credit to the teams that kept their heads and capitalized on mistakes. Most of the teams that lost were looking past this week to next week.

Oklahoma and Texas were both looking to next week as their national spotlight, both missed golden opportunities to make their run easier.

Florida definitely was looking to next week to play LSU and LSU looked as if they wish they were playing Florida this week.

I have stated before that USC is over rated and they should drop in the polls. They aren't safe, either Cal or Oregon can beat them.

I think the national champion this year will be a one loss team.

Even though Colt McCoy sucked and my Horns were annihilated! Go Horn Go!

are you serious. no team in the top ten won outright. maybe only Ohio St did. every top ten struggled even LSU. Cal barely won and that came down to the last play of the game.

this has been a great college football year. alot of teams this weekend have lost national title dreams this year. this is why there isnt a playoff in college football, because every week is a playoff game. if you lost you're pretty much out of the title race.

LSU is safe. We are the only team in the top 10 with a real D. We may have played crappy in the first half but we finished the game strong unlike USC. They only won by 3 against an unranked team. Best Defense my ***.

LSU is safe FOR NOW because they're defense will be able to keep them in a lot of games like it did today when the offense struggled in the first half

same with USC FOR NOW because I think if one of their special team guys hadnt forced that fumble when Washington was fielding that punt, USC probably would've lost or the game would've went to overtime

like I said safe for now, but any team can be beaten

thats what so great about college football because one game can make or break ur whole seasons. I think in the end it will be LSU/Cal for the championship game.
